I have been studying art since I was 12, this is when I first began drawing portraits. My love of art led me to the College Fine Arts at Arizona State University. It was there that my skills began to take shape through many years of studying the Master Impressionists and Georgia O’Keefe. Those artists have influenced much of my painting s
I have been studying art since I was 12, this is when I first began drawing portraits. My love of art led me to the College Fine Arts at Arizona State University. It was there that my skills began to take shape through many years of studying the Master Impressionists and Georgia O’Keefe. Those artists have influenced much of my painting style. My style through the years is ever evolving and has become a contemporary, expressionist approach which I am enjoying.

I have explored many art mediums over the years, beginning with graphite and color pencil, to pastel painting, photography, and now working in acrylics. After a 30-year career as a graphic designer, I am inspired to find ways of using my multiple talents in current original paintings.
